I am loving this basement redo by Emily A Clark

I just love what she did in this basement for a client. I especially love the yellow lamps that are just like mine. Now the wheels are turning in my head....

Fabric for living room

This is the fabric I have chosen for our dining room window. Love it!! It is called kiwi and I got it at P.Tree Textiles

I like this fabric, like the texture, but not sure where I am going to use it. I originally thought it would be great for our dining room chairs. Now I am not so sure. The pic below is a similar pattern on the foot stool. Hmmmm???

I could go a complete different direction with the chairs and use the Tilbury Lapis from Calico Corners which I have had my eye on for quite a while. I am leaning towards this. I think that the green curtains would pull out the green in this fabric. What do ya think?

I had ordered this fabric below from LS fabrics in Peacock. When it arrived in the mail and I pulled it out, the colors just didn't work right in my dining area, and I think the one above will be just right. I still like the one below, but might use it somewhere else on a pillow or something.

Starburst mirror at a fantabulous price!!!

Did anybody else know that Hobby Lobby now has online shopping? I didn't know until last night when I did a google search for decorative artichokes. That led me to hobby lobby website and then I discovered that I could shop for home decor on their site. Then I discovered this starburst mirror. It is 22.5" in diameter & costs much less than the other starburst mirrors that I have been looking at. It is $49.99 before the 25% discount. And if you don't like the gold, then spray paint it.

Amazing Gray by Sherwin Williams

Don't judge the decor just yet!! We are still getting settled in our house. I have only hung one set of pictures that are in the kitchen. I took some random pics that I thought would show the wall color well. The color is Sherwin Williams Amazing Gray at 50% darker.

It changes throughout the day. I love it. It is light, but not too light. It looks great with a variety of colors. It is a warm gray.

I took one pic of the fireplace with a flash and one without it.

In the kitchen, you have to look above the cabinets to see the Amazing Gray, but I threw this one in anyway.

Lamps and Pendants

Second time I put this one on my blog. I need one on each side of my buffet!! Anemone lamp from Flambeau Lighting.

This pendant is perfect for my mom's kitchen. We'll take 3 please. Also from Flambeau Lighting.

This lovely pendant is perfect for my mother-in-law. This is from Bellacor. I can picture 2 of them above her kitchen island.

Red Chinese Lantern from Bellacor Posted this one just because I love it.

This is from Bellacor and reminds me of the one seen in Souther Living.

Hanging Drapes on my mind....

The 2 images above are from Southern Living. I am really liking the rods that turn back towards the wall like these. I have had a hard time finding them.

Here Joni from Cote de Texas hung all drapes and blinds all the way up and at the same height even though all the windows are not the same height as the door. I like how this looks.

Above is a perfect example of what I am dealing with. I have an arched window that I am covering in our dining area. It is not as big as this one, but I am trying to decide how high to install the rod.

love this pic. The drapes are very close to the color of mine.

In this image from Lonny they went all the way up to the ceiling with the rods which I like, but they could have made the rods longer so that the drapes would not block the window when they are open.
