The Grinches Christmas decorations will soon be coming home to haunt your neighbors.
The holiday season is upon us and the decorations are now being auctioned off at a local thrift store for the very reasonable price of $3,500.
The decorations were donated to the Salvation Army by a family in the local town of Greenfield, West Virginia, which is home to one of the nation’s largest homeless populations.
The decorations were placed there by the family to help provide a festive welcome for homeless individuals.
The Salvation Army donated the decorations to the store and it will be up to the thrift shop to sell them to whoever wants them.
According to the Associated Press, the Salvation War Center, which operates the facility, says that it’s been providing decorations for the past three years, and it’s expected to be up for auction this holiday season.
The thrift is known for their large selection of Christmas and Thanksgiving decorations, which include a wide range of styles, including “wacky” and “grumpy” Christmas trees, and even “snowflake” Christmas lights.
The company is also selling handmade gift cards and t-shirts to help raise funds for the organization.
